Area Competition Results

We hosted the Area Humourous Speech and Table Topics competitions last night.

Zanya Dhal of the Hellfire Club won the speech competition. Pat Farrell of Dublin Toastmasters was placed 2nd.

Elaine Metcalfe of Iarnrod Eireann was placed 1st in the table topics competition. Ian Halstead took 2nd place.

Congratulations to everyone that took part and we wish Zanya and Elaine the very best of luck at the next stage of the competiton.

Club Competition Results

We held our Humorous Speech and Table Topics competitions last night.

Congratulations to Pat Farrell for winning the speech contest with a speech entitled 'I Hate the Dentist'. And to John Hennessy for winning the table topics competition with a fabulous response on the topic of Global Warming.

We wish both Pat and John the best of luck for the area competition next week which will be held on Thursday 8th October in Buswells Hotel at 7.45pm.
